It's me...
So a little bit about me.
I am a kitesurfer, surfer, apple fanboy and self confessed geek. I love being near the ocean or better still out on it, with my kiteboard, anywhere around the south of England. That’s not to say I wouldn’t like to be somewhere roasting hot just in boardies – leave the 5mm wetsuit at home!!
I work in IT. Hence the geek title I seem to have. My main area of expertise is Citrix. This includes XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer and Access Gateway. I currently work for a large enterprise company looking after the Citrix estate here. This poses all sorts of challenges. Like most companies these days money is scarce, this means we have to find ways and means to achieve the same automation / failover etc without spending too much.
This blog, its going to be a kind of free for all. There will be a lot of Citrix related stuff up here as well as some Apple, Mac and Kiting stuff. When I find a solution to a particular problem or write a script to automate something I will put it up on here. I am not precious about the code I write so feel free to use it / hack it about etc etc. If you do happen to have a blog of your own a link back is always appreciated!
Anyway – enjoy the site and please comment.
Laters,
b@m
PS: A couple of kiting pics for you – can’t have the whole site a geek fest!
