In Part 1 of this blog series I showed you how to setup and configure ADFS in your environment with the intention of using this for authentication to your NetScaler Unified Gateway coupled with Microsoft Azure MFA.
In Part 2 I will point you at excellent resources for setting up Citrix Federated Authentication Services to cater for the single sign on between The NetScaler, StoreFront and your XenDesktop VDA’s.
As I said in post 1 there has been a lot of help and other blog posts that have assisted me during the process of getting this all working.
So, not to re document what’s already been written head over to Carl Stalhood’s blog about setting up Citrix FAS
Follow the post all the way down to the NetScaler Config and at that point you should have a working Citrix FAS Service with StoreFront configured to handle the Smart Card Authentication
NetScaler Config. I will be putting all the NetScaler commands and configs you need to run in Part 3 of this Series including how and what links the NetScaler and the ADFS Service.
Thats it for now, once FAS is up and running we can start to get into the NetScaler!
